Terra Cotta Schmotta

Did you know Terra Cotta means “baked earth”. Outside of orangeburgh pipes most of the older pipes are made up of terra cotta. Both of these types of piping are turning to dust under our feet. Good news is we are here as your trenchless pipe repair experts.

It can be a very difficult task to address and repair your sewer, but fear not as this process is becoming easier. In the old days you had to dig up the earth and pull the pipe out. Depending on how far down the pipe is located you may need to also install reinforcement walls to make sure you don’t get buried alive! This process also takes a lot of wasted time and usually requires a small army.

Well those days of old are a thing of the past. Thanks to trenchless sewer line repair methods and other various trenchless pipe bursting technologies. Folks, this is only the beginning as there are some technologies around the corner that will blow you away. Just imagine one day very soon, you will be able to do this by remote control watching a computer screen. Well we gotta go for now and reline some more Terra Cotta Schmotta!
